  • Physics was hilarious today, especially when Mr. Blankenhorn gave us some insight to how his earlier years of teaching were like =p.  Anyway, during physics today, I showed steph my permit test from last year so she could cram some of it into her brain.  During class, Mr. Blankenhorn talked about how he used to teach in a really run down place.  There were constant gang fights and everything.  He taught like 8th grade math for a semester at this middle school.  The previous semester before him were taught by five teachers.  Five teachers because each teacher kept leaving, simply not being able to handle how messed up the students were.  Mr. Blankenhorn talked about how they used to call him Blankey instead of Blankenhorn and about how he used cigarettes as a motivation for the students.  For example, if the students performed well, studied, or did their homework, he would reward them with a cigarette.  That really cracked me up, but what really cracked me up the most was how Mr. Blankenhorn called Arnold Swarzenneggar his homeboy LMAO!  Anyway one time, he related, a gang was hanging around him, and even threatened him, but then this other gang "took" him in sort of, and like had good relations with him, so the other gang couldn't really do much.  Anyway, after that one semester, Mr. Blankenhorn got a job at AHS teaching math lmfao.  Anyway, today I went home and chilled for like an hour, and after that, I left the house and drove to school to pick up Michael to get his guitar string restrung.  On the way I drove past Judith, which reminded me that she was getting jamba juice.  I thought she was going to get me one, but I guess not, or maybe she got it for jo.  Anyways, I took Michael home first to get his amp, and then his guitar, and then from there we went on first ave, to this music shop, where he got a new string, and some other little stuff.  Then I took him to Well's house, so he could practice with them, their band.  They had a concert or something coming up.  After that, I had a sociology quiz later the day, so I printed out the articles.  I was planning to read 2 chapters of sociology later too, but then I got so caught up playing unreal nations, that I killed most of the time and only had time to read one of the articles.  I finished the second article during class at PCC.  When I got to PCC, I read the syllabus again, and then I realized in shock that I messed up.  I messed up BAD.  Part of the reason would be the poorly made syllabus, which was confusingly put together, but also because I didn't pay meticulous attention.  Anyway, I had a sociology TEST on that day, for FIVE chapters.  This meant that, even IF I did read two chapters, I still would have been screwed.  I was so freakin scared LOL, especially when there is only three tests, four quizzes, for our entire grade.  Anyway I aced the quiz, (which was on the articles, and you could have your articles out anyway, more like open notes quiz).  When the test came up, I was so freakin scared.  But then after I took it, it didn't seem hard at all.  A lot of it was freakin common sense.  I guess its because it's Sociology, and a lot of it IS common sense, but it still scared the shiet out of me LOL.  When I got home, my dad told me that the report card came.  Anyway he told me to not be sad and we should just try to do what we still can, the last summer before college begins.  After that, I stayed up really late helping kim chang study
    report card
    college credit

    editing... tomorro prolly.
